[Man of Steel] is a new superman film. It is very different with old versions. And I think it is better than [Iron man], but worse than Nolan's [Batman].
Why do I thought it is different between Superman's old version? There's some reason:
1.The scriptwriter add many backgrounds into the screenplay. We can find that superman's father is a very important character in this movie. He is not only a tutor of superman, but also the hero of his planet.
2.The position of character has changed. In the old version, superman is a journalist of a newspaper. However, in this new movie superman did many different jobs, like: waiter, sailor and porter. These experiences are very different between journalist.
3.In the [Man of Steel], we can find many superman's memory of grow up. This is very similar to the [Batman begins].
How did director show character's emotion in this movie? Firstly, I consider he use memory. When superman encounter something, he would remember early experiences. These memory help us to understand the emotion of superman. In the second way, I think the directer use good effects to show superman's power and emotion. He destroy a truck once because of the trucker affronted him. The destroyed truck show his emotion in the end.
I haven't watch the old version yet. I will find it to watch and do more comparison between Superman film. (Superman 1978 and Superman Return 2006)
