Shoot composition-The GodFather analysis

Shoot composition is a part of cinematography. The meaning of shoot composition here is:
         ① Ways of lens movement
         ② Different angles of the shot
         ③ Content in the screen

Generally, lens movement in the film include:
       Dolly shot
       Pan shot
       Fluid camera
       Following shot
       Crane shot

Angles of shot include:

      Front shot

      Oblique side shot

      Side shot

      Anti-side shot

      Reverse shot

Example:

In this picture, we can see every thing clearly. Kay was worried about their marriage. Mike was sedating his wife. Kay feel better. 

 Kay went out and take a cup of wine. This time, she saw several people went in and kiss her husband's hand. We cannot watch her face. But in the screen, she is virtual focus and out of the door. Inside and outside looks like two world. Audiences know she feel not very well.

 The door was closing. She had been isolated to another world. She want to cry.

But the world inside didn't want to see her. This time, audience is in the inside world. They can really feel how she was disappointed and lonely.
