Talk About "Life of Pi" - The Real Story 4

All of life is an act of letting go,

 but what hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.

In the end of the drifting story, Pi had been rescued in Mexico beach. The tiger, which already very poor, walked into the bush and disappeared forever. Pi was cried very sorrowful when the tiger leaves. 

Why Pi cried? The tiger means animality in his heart in this story. When animality leave, Why should he cry?

Because animality help Pi survived for 227 days. The tiger killed the hyena(the cook), the tiger is not a vegetarian, the tiger doesn't believe in religion. But during these 227 days, animality help Pi survived. However, when human seek and approaching divinity in the heart,  animality will leave unconsciously. Pi's father told him once: In tiger's eyes, you just can find yourself. There is nothing wrong with father. Animality cannot accommodate with divinity. When divinity win the life, the animality of Pi(the tiger) just leave without turning around.

"I thought he will turn around, but he just walks to the depth of a wood, and disappeared forever." Maybe his father is right. Tiger can never be humanity's friend. "The tiger just leaves, but in my heart, it will always be with me."

In the end, I want to talk about a real story in the history. The leading role's name of this story is "Richard Parker", too. In 1884, Mignonette ship has sunk. Four people are trapped in the Atlantic. Richard Parker is a 17 years old butler on the lifeboat. In the endless sea, 3 adults killed this young butler, eat his meat, drink his blood. These 3 sailors have survived in the end.

This time, many people finally can believe the second story of the movie. Because the real story sounds more cruel.
